Below are a few helpful reminders/tips for your upcoming Family Film/ Day in the Life photography session:

Regarding clothing choices pick things that are true to you and your style but kick it up a notch!
Indoors barefoot is always best!
Pick clothing for each family member that coordinates, and avoid being overly “matchy.” Meaning, don’t put everyone in the exact same thing.
Try to avoid clothing with large logos or words, neon or overly bright colors and thin stripes as they cause a moire effect on camera and it just looks wonky.
Stick to a color palette of 3-4 colors. Pinterest is your Friend! Search things like Fall Family Photo Colour Scheme and variations of this- so helpful as there are so many ideas for outfits and colours that coordinate together.
Turn off all artificial lights and open all your curtains and blinds- natural light is always best for indoor sessions!
